Mon pote Dj Gimamen était présent avec sa caméra pendant tout notre séjour à Dakar la semaine passée. Voici, la 1ère partie de Gimamen TV Africa avec au programme le vol Genève-Dakar, la rencontre imprévue entre M.A.M et Kimany Marley à l’aéroport de Madrid ainsi qu’un concert de M.A.M a peine arrivé au Sénégal.

Last week while in Dakar (Senegal) for the Festa 2H Hip-Hop Festival, we took a day off performing to shoot a video with Stress, Nega & M.A.M. The video is for a brand new remix of the InVinczible track from my album of the same name. The video is currently being edited but from the few shots i ve been able to see it looks like it’s gonna be incredible. I ll keep you people updated as the video editing is finished.

Like every summer for the past 4 years, the homie Green Giant & myself are going to Senegal for the Festa2H Hip-Hop Festival. We re gonna do a week of workshops showing the senegalese kids how to mix & scratch a bit. We ll also be doing a big concert with some of our swiss homies because this year, we re going with a whole crew from Switzerland: Stress, Nega, Dynamike, M.A.M & Dj Gimamen will be joining us for what is gonna be one hell of a road trip!
Touring is always great but it’s so much better when you re with your crew. I just know the 7 of us are gonna have a blast.
I ll also be shooting a video for a special remix of my InVinczible track with Stress, M.A.M & Nega as well as play a few gigs @ the Duplex in Dakar.
Life is hard.

Quelques tofs de la soirée Couleur 3 @ l’Unimail de Genève prise depuis notre super balcon/vip/dj booth/stage/couloir. L’Unimail était pleine de jeunes étudiant(e)s un peu éméchés (normal la bière était à 2 chf.-) et malgré le son dégueulasse (normal quand le plafond se trouve a 50 m au dessus du dancefloor), on a passé une super soirée. Un grand big up à mon coco Green Giant, mes Downtown Boogie Mcs, monsieur Dj Joh des Métissage et à LuLuxpo. D’ailleurs, c’était la première fois que je voyais Lulu & Polux en live et honnêtement, ils déchirent leur race! Sérieux, j’ai jamais vu 2 djs aussi en osmose qu’eux.
