The oher day I woke up to a nice suprise in my email inbox, a fresh Cali P dubplate. It’s actually a medley of 2 tracks, Cali’s new single Like A Lion (available on Itunes at the end of the month) & a remix he did with Tinnie Tempah’s for his hit song Pass Out.
In other Cali P news, the swiss reggae singer is working on the soundtrack to freestyle skiing legend Tanner Hall’s forthcoming documentary. There will be a tour to go along the release of the movie which will stop on september 25th in Zurich & on september 30th in Annecy in France.
Props to Miss Info for the story behind this crazy ass track: ….the hook and the flow is originally created by a well-known homeless guy named Red, who was first recorded by the folks at the HVW8 Art Gallery in Los Angeles. Red was living in the alley behind their gallery. His performance became a youtube favorite, and Cam actually paid for the rights to the song. But then Red disappeared! So now…Cam and Snoop are hoping that by putting out the song, someone will track down Red, so they can make sure he’s getting his money and can get in the video.
Kanye West just announced that him & Jay-Z are releasing a 5 song album together. This is the 2nd song off the project and it features both Ricky Rozay & Nicki Minaj. I m lovin it!
Game’s latest mixtape came out a few weeks ago but I didn’t have a chance to listen to it untill a few days ago. While Game’s forthcoming Red Album has been pushed back more than a few times already and as of yet hasn t got a release date, the West Coast mc delivers a good ass mixtape. With features & productions that makes one wonder what the fuck is the difference between an album & a mixtape nowadays?
You can download the regular version with Dj Skee or the no dj one.

Here is part 2 of the R&B Classics Mixtape i did last year for the Duplex in Dakar. As you can see on the cover it took me a whole year to upload to it to the internet. Anyway there’s a download link with separated tracks for the mixtape and there’s the music player where you can listen online or download the mix as one 67 minutes track.
Enjoy.
